и      Successes of NAS are really fantastic. At that, rate of technical progress continue to accrue, though it is restrained. But it is restrained mainly by restrictions of environment - of power resources and of ecology, but not by potentialities of the science (human intelligence). On this background the impression appears that NAS is omnipotent, that even if it does not know or cannot something, it is only temporarily.
    But such an impression is deceptive. The NAS, recognizing and studying only a physical reality (objects and the phenomena), does not contain in its paradigm representations and concepts which would allow to master (to describe, analyze, use) objects and phenomena of not-physical reality, in particular - a psyche reality. Therefore NAS not only refuses studying DP, but declares even that DP do not belong to the sphere of NAS competence, and so readdresses to parapsychology the decision of problems, generated by existence of DP, but declares DP to be nonexistent at all.     и
