Volition as psychological characterization of a person is closely interrelated with his other psyche properties and characterizations. For instance, in order to be volitional, in order to fulfil, to realize an intention, one have to be attentive. On the other hand, in order to be attentive, the more volitional effort is necessary the more difficult a task is, the more power embarrassment are etc.
One of necessary conditions for realization of will is the reliable memory. Or on the opposite: one of cause of lack of will the oblivion may become, for a forgotten intention remain non-realized as well.
